Dr. Guang Hu serves as Vice President of R&D at IASO.
With over 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he joined IASO in January 2018 and has since held positions as senior supervisor, senior director, executive supervisor, and Vice President of R&D.
Dr. Hu began his career as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School in the USA, where he was primarily responsible for academic research. He then served as General Manager at Beijing Sainuoya Biotechnology, focusing on biopharmaceutical R&D. Subsequently, he held the role of Director at the Shaoxing Institute of Technology of the Engineering School of Peking University, where he was mainly engaged in scientific research. Later, he worked as Technical Director at Wuhan Boruida Biotechnology, overseeing the R&D of innovative drugs. During this period, he also served as a visiting scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine in the USA, conducting academic research.
Dr. Hu earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Beijing Normal University and obtained his doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
