Dr. Ren started her career as a Senior Executive in the registration department at Baxter Healthcare Limited, where she was primarily responsible for drug registration applications. She then worked as a Senior Registration Officer at Shanghai Roche Pharmaceuticals in Beijing, where she was primarily responsible for drug registration applications. Later, she served as Manager of the Registration Department at GlaxoSmithKline (China) in Beijing, where she was primarily responsible for drug registration applications. Subsequently, she joined Abbott (Shanghai) as a Senior Registration Manager, where she was primarily responsible for drug registration applications. Thereafter, she held the position of Senior Director of the Registration Department at Chuang Shi (Beijing), where she was primarily responsible for drug registration applications.

Dr. Ren earned her bachelor's degree in laboratory medicine from Peking University and obtained her doctoral degree in molecular biology from the University of Southern California in the USA.
